REQUIREMENTS
- Live within the district and within 15 minutes of the station (waiver available at Chief’s discretion).
- Have reliable transportation, valid insurance, current vehicle registration and a valid driver’s license at all times.
- Submit to a criminal background check and finger printing.
- Submit to a drug screen and physical at specified facility prior to being allowed to join.
- Pass fitness test at any time on request.
- Complete NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700 & 800 within 1 year of joining.
- Complete task book within 1 year of joining.
PREFERENCES
- Prior Military, EMS or Fire service
- Firefighter 1/2
- Wildland Firefighter
- EMT (with or without IV, Expanded Medications and/or King LT Airway Certification)
- Paramedic
