We’re always happy to accept applications for new volunteers!  If you’d like to serve your community and gain valuable experience and knowledge to further your career in the EMS and Fire Services, please read on!  If you don’t have any experience, that’s fine, we can help train you!

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Live within the district and within 15 minutes of the station (waiver available at Chief’s discretion).
  2. Have reliable transportation, valid insurance, current vehicle registration and a valid driver’s license at all times.
  3. Submit to a criminal background check and finger printing.
  4. Submit to a drug screen and physical at specified facility prior to being allowed to join.
  5. Pass fitness test at any time on request.
  6. Complete NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700 & 800 within 1 year of joining.
  7. Complete task book within 1 year of joining.

PREFERENCES

  1. Prior Military, EMS or Fire service
  2. Firefighter 1/2
  3. Wildland Firefighter
  4. EMT (with or without IV, Expanded Medications and/or King LT Airway Certification)
  5. Paramedic
